User license
------------
1 - This version of AWebEd may be freely distributed, except for
commercial purposes for which the permission of the author will have
to be obtained.
2 - The AWebEd archive must be distributed intact, although the
following alterations may be made:
i) Additional documentation may be included within the
"Helpdocs" directory.
ii) The file "Functions" within the "Helpdocs" directory
may be altered to allow the insertion of user-generated
links to any additional user-generated documentation
iii) The five sub-directories within the "commands"
directory may be renamed, and additional AMAL scripts
added.
iv) AMAL scripts within the command sub-directories may be
moved to the "storage" directory.
All alterations must be logged within the file named "Distribution
Alterations". The distributor must ensure that all alterations are
attributed.
3 - AWebEd v1.0 is shareware. If the user decides to use AWebEd, it
is requested that the user registers with the author. Registration
will bring the user a number of benefits which are outlined at the
end of this document. Registration fees will ensure the continuing
development of AWebEd!
4 - The author cannot take any responsibility for damage to the
user's software/hardware as a result of using AWebEd.
Starting up
-----------
AWebEd requires no installation procedure as such, and will
autoconfigure on execution. AWebEd should be happy anywhere on your
system. It is advised that AWebEd is run from harddrive. However,
it should run straight from floppy (although this is untested).
The AWebEd application must be kept within it's directory.

System requirements
-------------------
Hardware:
- OS 3.x
- 2 megs (3-4 megs recommended)
- Harddrive (recommended)
Software:
- Workbench 3.x
- AWeb 1.x+ (recommended)
- AWebEd will write one file, (AwebEd.doclist), to your S:
assign.
- AWebEd will write two additional files to the directory
"ram:t".
This Version
------------
This is version 1.1 - it's the same as v1.0 except one silly
bug which was causing people problems has been removed.
Using AWebEd
------------
Double-click on the AWebEd icon to start AWebEd. Full
documentation is provided within AWebEd.
BUGS!!!
-------
This is the first wide-scale release of AWebEd. Hence, despite the
exhaustive testing carried out so far, there are bound to be some
bugs that have slipped through. I suspect that most bugs will be in
AMAL - esp. AMAL error trapping routines. Hence, keep a look out
for AMAL scripts that are not behaving themselves. None of the bugs
should be crash-worthy, just a bit irritating. Drop me a line if
you think you've found one. Registration will stop those bugs!

UK: Send me a cheque for 10 UK pounds, along with your email
and smail addresses.
Elsewhere: Send me 10 UK pounds worth of travellers cheques (in
UK pounds), along with your email and smail
addresses. Remember to sign the cheques TWICE so
that I can cash them.
